Tire racks at High St Tire

Tires

The right tire.
The right work.

New and used tires, mounting, balancing and tire repair. Bring the size, or bring the car and we will read the wear for you.

How a tire job goes

Remove. Mount.
Balance. Torque.

01

Remove

Worn or damaged rubber comes off. The wear pattern usually tells you something worth knowing.

02

Mount

The replacement tire is seated onto the wheel so the bead sits correctly against the rim.

03

Balance

Balancing reduces vibration by correcting small weight differences across the wheel and tire.

04

Torque

Fasteners are tightened in sequence so the wheel seats evenly and securely.

05

Road ready

New and used tires, balancing and tire repair are all available here.

06

Wearing unevenly?

If tires wear unevenly or the vehicle pulls, ask about alignment.

Read your sidewall

Your tire size is
already on the tire.

Type the three numbers

Look at the side of any tire on the car. There's a code like 225/45R17. Type yours below and we'll tell you what it means — then send it to the shop in one tap.

225/45R17

225 mm — the tread width from sidewall to sidewall.

45% — the sidewall height as a share of the width, about 101 mm here.

17-inch rim — the wheel this tire fits. Overall diameter about 25.0".
